Last week Donald Trump became the president elect of the United States. For many minority groups, his presidency may cause the loss of rights, discrimination, and just fear of the unknown. While it’s very scary and sad to look at, I think it’s important to know the reality of could happen if Trump does make it into office. I say this because I think it is important to keep up on one’s own rights and possibly take action if they are or may be taken away.
Also, I use the words president elect and If he gets into office because there is a petition for the electoral college to vote for Clinton, which may get her into office. You can sign that petition here.
To start off, same sex marriages and adoptions are most likely here to stay, but other things are a little questionable.
To makes things a little easier to understand, I put together this infographic and provided additional links for more information.

Additionally, you may or may not be aware that there are Anti-Trump protests going on. Here’s a video of the one I went to in New York City.
While it is sad and scary to think about all of this, I think it’s important to bring visibility to these possibilities.
