There is a long history of homophobia and transphobia in sports. As a result, many athletes have faced discrimination and exclusion from sports because of their sexual orientation or gender identity. While things are starting to change, there is still a lot of work to be done to create a more inclusive sporting environment for everyone.<\/p>\n
